Only the client’s agenda will be discussed, and the client will be met first. If the client is absent for 20 minutes after the scheduled time, the session will be cancelled with no refund.

How can I book an online session?

You can easily book a session through our website. Click on “Book Appointment,” select your preferred counsellor, choose a suitable date and time, and make the payment. You will receive an email confirmation with your session details once your booking is complete

Why do I need to pay before the session?

We collect the session fee in advance to confirm your slot. This ensures that every scheduled session is reserved exclusively for you and helps prevent last-minute cancellations that could otherwise block time for other clients seeking support.

Why don’t you offer phone or chat counselling?

Our sessions are conducted through secure video calls to ensure effective communication. Seeing facial expressions and body language helps our counsellors understand your emotions better, making therapy more personal, accurate, and impactful.

Will the counsellor meet clients with psychological disorders?

Yes. If you have been diagnosed with a psychological disorder and are under medical supervision, our counsellors can work alongside your psychiatrist or doctor to support your emotional and mental well-being through structured online sessions.

How many sessions will I need?

Yes. Some clients notice improvement after a few sessions, while others benefit from ongoing support. Your counsellor will help you decide what works best for you.

Karthik Lakshmanan is a well qualified Counseling Psychologist and Psycho-Oncologist with 15 years of experience as a practitioner. He is the founder of our organization.

He holds an M.Sc. in Counseling Psychology from the prestigious Madras School of Social Work. Additionally, he completed an M.Phil. in Psycho-oncology, specializing in Tobacco Cessation, obtained from the esteemed Cancer Institute (WIA) in Adyar, reflecting his dedication to advancing his knowledge and expertise in the field. He has worked as Senior Counselor in IIT-Madras from Oct 2018 to Nov 2022 and is an affiliate counselor to Workplace Options – an Employee Assistance Provider to Corporates in which he provides counseling for the employees on relationship and career issues. He specializes in Relationship Counselling, Stress/Depression/Anxiety Counseling, Career Counselling, Addiction Counselling, Sexual Counselling, LGBTQ+ Counselling, Pre-marital counselling, Grief Counseling, Anger Management Counselling and Geriatric Counselling.

His commitment to advancing the field of counseling extends beyond his clinical practice. He has authored textbooks on Counseling Psychology, Psychological Testing, and Biological Psychology, contributing to the academic discourse and knowledge dissemination within the field.
