Please read the following Refund and Cancellation Policy carefully before booking any counselling session with Online Therapy India.
Cancellations and Refunds
All payments made for counselling sessions are non-refundable under any circumstances, except if the session is cancelled by Online Therapy India or the assigned counsellor. If a refund is approved due to cancellation from our side, it will be processed within 5–7 business days, which includes the time taken for transaction processing and the amount to reflect in your bank account.
Session Guidelines
Each counselling session is conducted online through secure platforms. Please ensure you have a stable internet connection using broadband, Wi-Fi, or high-speed mobile data. If a session cannot be completed due to internet or technical issues from the client’s side, no refund will be provided. However, if the interruption occurs due to a technical issue from the counsellor’s side, the session will be rescheduled at a mutually convenient time.
Timings and Attendance
Your booking confirms a specific time slot that is reserved exclusively for you. If you fail to join the session within 20 minutes of the scheduled start time, it will be considered a no-show, and the session will be cancelled without refund. Sessions cannot be rescheduled once booked unless the counsellor initiates a change. Please ensure you are on time for every appointment.
Session Duration
Each session is booked for a fixed duration, typically 45 minutes. If a session concludes earlier, no partial refund will be issued for the unused time since the entire slot is reserved for you.
Rescheduling by Counsellor
In rare cases where the counsellor needs to reschedule a session, you will be notified in advance and offered the next available slot at your convenience.
